Terms & Conditions

About these terms & conditions

Last updated: 29 July 2026.

These terms apply to www.leedstechsupport.com and to enquiries made through it. The site is operated by Connor Hughes, a sole trader trading as Leeds Tech Support, of 2 Armley Grange Avenue, Leeds, LS12 3QN. Contact: hello@leedstechsupport.com.

The website provides general information about technology support for homes and small businesses. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract. A contract is formed only when we confirm the scope, price and arrangements in writing or begin work with your agreement.

Services, prices and cancellations

Services and prices are agreed in a quote, email or other written confirmation. Unless stated otherwise, third-party products, licences, subscriptions, parts and travel outside the agreed area are additional. Payment is due as stated on the invoice; we may pause work while an invoice is overdue as per our terms and conditions.

Customers must provide safe access, accurate information and permission to access relevant devices, accounts and premises. Customers should keep current backups of important data. We will take reasonable care, but technology can fail and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or the recovery of data.

If you are a consumer and the contract is made at a distance or away from our business premises, you may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right. If you ask us to start during that period, you may have to pay for work completed, and the right may be lost once a service is fully performed with the required acknowledgement. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Appointments may be rescheduled. Any cancellation fee will be explained before booking. We may decline work that is unsafe, unlawful, unsupported or outside our agreed scope.

Liability, complaints and law

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing affects a consumer’s statutory rights.

Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for failures caused by third-party products or services, malware, misuse, unauthorised changes, inaccurate information, or the absence of a suitable backup. For business customers only, our total liability relating to a service will not exceed the fees paid for that service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Website content is for general information and may change. Unless otherwise stated, the site’s text, design and branding belong to Leeds Tech Support and may not be copied or misused.

Please send service or data-protection complaints to hello@leedstechsupport.com. We will investigate fairly and keep you updated; data-protection complaints will be acknowledged within 30 days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers keep any right to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to them. We may update these terms by changing the date above.
